Aged Care Stream

Overview

Study and Work Program - Aged Care Stream is an intensive 17-week course that prepares students for a career in Australia’s aged care sector. Combining Nursing English, a Nationally Recognised Qualification in Aged Care, and the Job Support Program

Through our Job Support Program, we help connect students with aged care providers across Australia. 

This stream comprises of following courses:

English for Healthcare and Nursing + Certificate III in Individual Support

If you have not yet met the English language entry level for your chosen program, consider enrolling in our Online Foundation English for Study & Work course. This course is designed to help you build the language skills needed to succeed in the Study and Work Program all streams. 

Career Opportunities

Graduates from the course will be qualified to work as a:

  • Assistant in Nursing
  • A care worker in a residential care facility
  • Home and community care worker​

Work placement: 120 hrs mandatory work placement

Entry Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 4.5. Charter Australia's English Placement Test may be required upon application.
