Aged Care Stream
Overview
Study and Work Program - Aged Care Stream is an intensive 17-week course that prepares students for a career in Australia’s aged care sector. Combining Nursing English, a Nationally Recognised Qualification in Aged Care, and Job Support Program, this program ensures graduates are fully qualified and job-ready.
Through our Job Support Program, we help students secure employment, connecting them with aged care providers across Australia.
This stream comprises of following courses:
English for Healthcare and Nursing + Certificate III in Individual Support
Career Opportunities
Graduates from the course will be qualified to work as a:
- Assistant in Nursing
- A care worker in a residential care facility
- Home and community care worker

Overview
Entry Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have English proficiency equivalent to IELTS 4.5. Charter Australia's English Placement Test may be required upon application.

Program Duration
- 17 weeks of training/assessment including mandatory work placement and intensive healthcare English (criteria applies)
- Up to 36 weeks of paid work after graduation

You'll also have total access to our self-paced job preparation short course, where you'll get practical tips to boost your employability.
