How can you pass your OSCE the first time?

Doing your OSCE is a big decision for International Qualified Nurses (IQNs) wanting to work and become registered nurses in Australia. It also remains the most expensive exam to date within the nursing and healthcare industry (current cost AUD$ 4000). You want the confidence to pass this exam the first time round, and Charter Australia’s OSCE Preparation exam can help you achieve this milestone in your nursing career!

Who is this OSCE Course for?

This course is designed for internationally qualified nurses preparing to meet the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) requirements for nursing registration. 
Ideally, our course is for qualified nurses residing in Australia or in New South Wales. Nurses abroad are also welcome to enrol as they will get the opportunity to study and experience the beautiful, cosmopolitan city of Sydney.

Does Charter Australia check OSCE exam eligibility?

What happens if I take the course but am not eligible for the OSCE?

It is your responsibility to confirm your eligibility before enrolling. Charter Australia is not liable if you are found ineligible for the OSCE after completing the course.

No, completing this course does not guarantee success. Your performance in the OSCE depends on your knowledge, skills, and preparation.

Is the course accredited by AHPRA?

No, this course is not accredited by AHPRA. It is designed as a supplementary preparation tool for the OSCE.

What are the Australian visa requirements for taking the OSCE Exam Preparation Course?

Any visa that permits study is acceptable.

What should I bring to the training sessions?

You may need to bring:

What support is available if I fail the OSCE exam? Can I retake the preparation course?

If you fail the OSCE exam, we will offer you one additional opportunity to retake the OSCE preparation course, subject to class availability.
