This program gives students the language skills to work in professional care settings, where they support the wellbeing, development and independence of vulnerable people. The course content is relevant to a range of industries, including childcare, education, aged care, disability care, nursing, allied healthcare and community services. Students will build their professional communication skills so that they can excel in the Australian workplace.

- Communication Skills
Focus on real workplace communication skills such as interacting with people in your care and collaborating with colleagues. Practise scenarios such as giving instructions, providing advice, supporting independence, reporting incidents and participating in meetings. Learn workplace jargon and technical terms to communicate effectively in the Australian workplace.
- Childcare Centre Tours
Optional visits to local childcare centres, where students can gain valuable first-hand experience in Australia.

Enrolment
By enrolling in the Study and Work Program, you will be automatically enrolled in the English for Care Professionals course based on your language score.
Entry Requirements

Learning Materials
The learning materials are all provided via our online portal. There is no need to purchase a textbook. The resources include reading and writing tasks, videos and listening tasks, speaking activities, and realistic materials from the Australian workplace.

- Students can commence at the beginning of each school term.
- 17 weeks intensive program is offered to working holiday visa holders as part of Charter Australia's Study and Work Program.

Pathways to Further Studies
Students may use the English for Care Professionals course as pathway to entry into a vocational qualification at Charter Australia. A number of qualifications are available for international students.
