Entry Requirements

Whether you’re a domestic or international student looking to study at Charter Australia, it’s important to understand the entry requirements that apply before you enrol. For international students, Charter Australia outlines minimum age, digital skills, computer access and English language criteria aligned with Australian visa standards, including accepted external English test scores or exemptions, alongside mandatory work placement and immunisation requirements for certain courses.

Domestic students are also assessed on age, digital skills and course-relevant literacy, language and numeracy levels (through Charter Australia’s LLN test), with possible exemptions for previous English studies. Both pathways may have specific academic prerequisites depending on the chosen qualification, and additional criteria could apply at the course level — so checking individual course pages and contacting Charter Australia is recommended.

Industry and Work Placement Requirements

Each full qualification includes a mandatory work placement component. You must be able to meet the physical, emotional, and practical requirements of the industry.

Please read the information for your chosen course area. If you have any concerns about your ability to meet these requirements, please discuss them with our staff.

If you have a medical condition or disability that may affect your ability to perform the required tasks, you are encouraged to inform Charter Australia before enrolment. This allows us to discuss your needs, assess course suitability with you, and explore whether reasonable adjustments can be implemented. You have the right not to disclose a disability; however, we can provide better advice and support if you inform us.
