Aged Care Stream
Overview
The aged care stream is suitable for anybody seeking to pursue or develop a career, providing assistance and support to people who may require support due to ageing, disability, or some other reason, with a centralised focus on caring for aged persons.
This stream comprises of following courses:
English for Healthcare and Nursing + Certificate III in Individual Support
Career Opportunities
Graduates from the course will be qualified to work as a:
- Assistant in Nursing
- A care worker in a residential care facility
- Home and community care worker

Overview
Entry Requirements
There are no prerequisites or corequisites that are applicable to the units of competency selected within this course. For Charter Australia’s minimum entry requirements, please visit Entry Requirements page.
Program Duration
- 17 weeks of training/assessment including mandatory work placement and intensive healthcare english (criteria applies)
- up to 36 weeks of paid work after graduation
