Why do a Study and Work Program in Aged Care in Sydney, Australia?

Charter Australia’s Aged Care stream in our Work and Study Program for Working Holiday Visa holders offers an intensive study program and pathway to employment in Australia’s aged care sector.

You’ll complete English for Healthcare & Nursing alongside a CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support, gaining both the communication skills and the qualification you need to begin caring for ageing Australians. English native speaking students or with a high IELTS score need not do the English for Healthcare and Nursing on proof of their language proficiency skills.

*Study on a working holiday visa in Australia is limited and so while obtaining a Certificate III qualification requires 6 months of study, this program offers an intensive study option to fit all the units that do not compromise the time and quality needed over a 6 month period.

This comprehensive Aged Care program for international students therefore combines:

We support you every step of the way with a built-in Job Support Program, offering coaching, employer referrals, and job-ready workshops—designed to fast-track your transition into roles such as Assistant in Nursing, residential care worker, or home care provider.

After completion of this course and 120 hours of mandatory work placement, you’ll be more than ready to enter the job market and ready to earn a living in Australia.

If you have not yet met the English language entry level for your chosen program, consider enrolling in our Online Foundation English for Study & Work course. This course is designed to help you build the language skills needed to succeed in the Study and Work Program all streams.
