A Message of Resilience and Growth from Charter Australia
In light of the recent announcement from the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations regarding the National Planning Level (NPL) for 2025, we at Charter Australia are deeply disappointed with the international enrolment limit imposed on CRICOS providers, including our institution. Despite the government's decision to restrict the number of new overseas student commencements, we remain steadfast in our commitment to serving our students, agents, and partners.
For years, Charter Australia has successfully delivered our unique Study and Work Program, specifically designed for overseas registered nurses from Japan, Korea, and other countries. These students, many of whom arrive in Australia on Working Holiday visas, have received high-quality training in aged care and hospital settings. Our programs have provided essential skills to these nurses, empowering them to fill crucial roles within Australia's healthcare sector. Their contributions have been particularly vital in aged care, where their expertise and compassion have made a real difference in the lives of older Australians.
We are proud of our track record and the positive impact we've made through this initiative. Our Study and Work Program has not only benefited the Australian healthcare system but has also supported the career development of international nurses seeking valuable work experience in Australia.
Despite the challenges imposed by the new limits, we want to reassure our students and partners that Charter Australia will continue providing our Study and Work Program in 2025 and beyond.
Moreover, we are excited to announce that we are extending this initiative to include Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC). With the growing demand for skilled professionals in this field, we see this expansion as a critical step in supporting Australia's childcare sector while providing international students with new opportunities to gain experience and develop their careers. The Study and Work Program - Early Childhood Education and Care is launching in September 2024.
At Charter Australia, we believe in turning challenges into opportunities. We stand defiant in the face of these enrolment restrictions and remain committed to supporting our students and agents in achieving success in Australia. We will work closely with our partners to navigate these changes and continue to uphold our reputation for excellence in education and training.
Thank you to all our students, agents, and partners for your ongoing support. Together, we will face this challenge with resilience and determination, and we will continue to create opportunities for students to study, work, and succeed in Australia.
Stay tuned for more updates, and let's continue to work together toward a brighter future for all.
